yarn: Østlandsgarn, 50gr=100m, 100%wool, will felt if not treated gently!
colours:
-dark green 212, 6 balls, 14 fish
-light green 262, 6 balls, 14 fish
-petrol 234, 3 balls, 7 fish
-blue 225, 6 balls, 14 fish
-light blue 244, 6 balls, 14 fish
-red Falk, 2 balls, 5 fish
-orange Falk , 1 ball, 2 fish
Total of 70 fish, sewn together 7x10.
Size: 125cmX195cm/ 50"x78"
A very simple crochet shell edging.
needles: 3.5mm
Started 3 years ago...but rather quick to knit once I started! Less than an hour per fish. And finished now because I need the leftover yarn for mittens:-)
Right now it's lying out on the porch, I've washed it, and just stretched it a little.

Jeg har vært på fisketur...og resultatet ble et ulteppe på 125x195 cm! Jeg har prøvd å finne mønsteret igjen på nettet, men det er helt borte, jeg finner mange ferdige tepper, men ikke mønsteret. Begynte på dette for tre år siden, så ble det lagt på vent...men nå trengte jeg garnet til votter! Så da var det best å få det ferdig. Det var moro når jeg først fikk begynt! Nå ligger det til tørk ute på verandaen, det fikk en tur i vaskemaskinen igårkveld.
My view a few days ago. The rainbow is to remind me of my next project...I've been asked to sew a christeningdress for a lottery! I have all the fabrics, and a plan inside my head...;-)
Utsikten for noen dager siden. Fint å ha regnbuen for å minne meg om neste prosjekt...jeg er blitt spurt om å sy en dåpskjole til en utlodning! Har stoffene klare, og en plan tar form inni hodet mitt...;-)

Dette var virkelig et flott og originalt teppe. Hvor mange masker legger du opp til en fisk? Kunne tenke meg å prøve, men du sier at mønsteret ikke er på nett lenger, så da spør jeg. Vennlig hilsen U9
I am assuming it is meant to be a blanket? What a unique and novel idea too. I love it! I can imagine that at some point it could be boring, so you would need a break now and then. But it also looks like a really fun project at the same time. It's gorgeous! :)

That is so cool! I love the colors you chose. The sparing reds scattered throughout has a really nice affect on the overall pattern.
Just a word: I thought I had a 'night off' but just discovered two more school meetings tonight. THEN, I plan to knit like a fiend. Maybe I'll bring my blanket and actually knit in public. Do I dare!? HA HA.
Så tøff du er som tør begi deg utpå med noe sånt. Det ble jo helt herlig også da. Teppe til å bli i godt humør av det der, men jeg syns det ser ut som en forferdelig masse arbeid. Men jeg har jo teppevegring.

I have always loved this fish blanket and forgotten about it. Yours is so nice! Maybe I should make fish with my scrap yarn when I am between projects and one day I can have a nice blanket too.
