It's not very far to drive to Ryfylke, about 600 kilometers one way. I used 12 hours on my way down, but stopped at the Tannery to deliever some sheepskin from last years butcheringseason. There were five ferries down. And a number of tunnels....on my way home, I decided to count them....the first 100 kilometers I drove through 34- yes thirtyfour! -tunnels- and the total count (one way) was 66! Some of them were long(25, 11, 15 km), some were short (50m, 350m and so on...)some were very dark, some well lit. I guess I spent a couple of hours driving through tunnels! This green one is the world's longest tunnel- Lærdalstunnelen.
Sunshine and calm weather on my way home, but narrow roads...
I'm back home now, and the needles are clicking...always some projects in the works...Oh, and I've signed up for Ravelry (username maritko), but haven't had time to check how it works yet!
Ruth! Tusen takk!
Time to quit for tonight. I might blog more sporadically through the summer, but I'll be around! Have a great summer!
(and please:I've tried writing this in both English and Norwegian- tell me if I've made grave mistakes in the translations!)

I had no idea there were so many tunnels in Norway! Always interesting to read your posts...though I can't tell you much about how well your translations are, because I don't speak Norwegian :-) But, the English parts seem great!
What a beautiful place you live in. Sounds like a fun couple of days-love the bunnies! You're English writing is fabulous-no worries! Have a great week.
As always beautiful pictures. I hate driving through tunnels so I cannot even begin to imagine a trip like that.
Glad you got your blogger sorted out. I was concerned about you.
Have a great week.

Gradestokken viser nesten 40 grader i skyggen.. Ha en fin uke hjemme i Norge..
WOW! What a lovely long blog. SO many tunnels! I wonder how long the drive would have taken you 'in the old days'. 10 years ago, Iceland was just a LONG LONG drive around all the mountains. Now we just buzz right under the fjords and mountains. Not so fun for someone with claustrophobia.
Great pics!
Glad you're back, Marit! It's tough with computer issues...we had some ourselves recently. It's amazing how dependent we become on our computers--LOL! It looks so lovely where you are...love the goast gadding along the road! And the tunnel photos like something from a film! Happy Summer Days to you all ((HUGS))
Tusen takk for awarden.
Ha ein fin kveld!
Eeyore has a different name in Norway?!?!?! next you'll be telling me Tigger isn't called Tigger!
66 tunnels is loooooots of small, enclosed spaces!
