...ready to leave...

Tusenfryd... and SkyCoaster...ready for take -off... A great bunch of people- the kids at Tusenfryd together with hubby's cousin. I went to
Stoff og Stil in Drammen instead... DS1 is ready to leave. Hubby will drive him to
Stavanger this weekend, so we are busy packing him up, and getting him ready for Gann. It will be strange to see him leave. He's always been around! But he is ready to go, and eager to go, and very motivated for school, so I think he will be fine. He will stay onboard the ship, it's like a boarding school (which makes it easier for me to let him go! I know he will get proper food, and there are people to check on them, and he'll get help with his homework. ) 105 pupils this year...he'll have a great time!
I'll be back with knitting shortly...
Have a great day:-)

Man blir litt sånn melankolsk når de flyr fra redet, jeg vet. Men man blir jo litt stolt også. Rar tid, det der.

Hyggelig å høre fra deg igjen. Koser meg alltid med bloggen din.

How exciting! Looks like he's ready to go. Did you go get the sheep with him? Good luck with everything!

It is hard when the first born leaves the nest. When my son left he went into the Army and went way far away (still in the States, but too far for me to go see him much).
You will survive as countless other Mothers have done, you will cry a bit and miss him, but you still have 3 others to keep your mind occupied.
He will have a marvelous time, no doubt.

A sad moment in many ways, but the start of new adventures too.

Hi, Marit, your children are so beautiful. Your son's adventure sounds so exciting....for him....and a little lonley for you. It's nice that you'll know he's in a safe environment though.

I'm glad your son had a happy send off and is looking forward to furthering his education. It looks like you had a very good summer too, with a garden and all. Summer time is so busy too. There is rarely a spare moment it seems. Winter can be a bit rough, but it does provide us with more time for reading and knitting. :)
