Hubby went back to work on Jan.2nd, the kids went back to school on Jan.3rd, and I fed the sheep in the mornings and went back to bed...after a few days my fingers started to itch, so I dug out the December Sockamania SnowFlake pattern and made a pair with matching fingerless mittens. These will be sent off to a friend of mine in Iceland. The plan was to knit these between Christmas and NewYear, in order to keep the monthly deadline...but once I got around to start them, they just flew off my needles.

DS1 has been doing the farmchores in the evening after school, since I still don't feel very well. I did go see a doctor, eventually, and got some antibiotics. It doesn't seem to help much, I'm still coughing and feeling rather dizzy. "Serves you well", my sister the nurse said," for not seiing the doc any sooner!" (It only took me three weeks...)
DS1 and I took a short walk along the road yesterday- or was it the day before?- to check on some sheep, and on our way back, the man in the moon peeked out...this is just behind our barn a little before 5pm.
Anyway, I obviously have a lot to catch up on- (like an award-thank you-I'll get back to it:-))and reading blogs. Hope this finds you all in good shape.
Have a great day!
