...another week gone...

Lousy picture...but this is going to be the BeeFields shawl...I'm done with the beehives, beeswarm, and have started the Bees in field- section. A fun knit- but not a tv-knit! The yarn is Lamullgarn from Røros-Tweed AS, 100% wool in a (much!) darker red than this ine shows! (Colour # 48). I'm trying to finish it before April 25th...I'm also working on a sweater, and should start another pair of socks. Just didn't think I had the right yarn for it! But I'm sure I'll find some:-)

DD2 has finished both her slippers and her mittens, now it's up to mum to felt it.

I've seen several crafty children on blogs lately (some of the links you'll have to scroll down to see), and I think it's great that kids/youngsters are still interested in making something themselves! All my kids know how to knit, but they've learnt it in school- once they learn the basic knitstitch, I can help out with the rest. But I'm NO teacher-LOL!!!

I've been out chopping firewood for next winter. Normally that is hubby's job, but as long as he's in sunny, warm Houston, I'd better put the kids to work! Child labour...Also, they are back from school in 10 minutes- which means my time on the computer is off. I'd better get that cup of tea, and a couple more rounds on my shawl. I'm looking forward to the blocking of that one!

As for the weather,we've had a few lovely days around here, sunny and springlike, but today we woke up to this:
More snow! Yikes! It HAS disappeared now, though:-)
We're getting more and more lambs too. Can you hear the cat on the video? That's Mr. Black! He jumped on my shoulders while I was filming! He makes a pretty warm scarf-LOL!

Have a nice weekend:-)

Lovely shawl in the works. It's great that they teach knitting in schools there. Here we get sewing but that's it. Also, beautiful view-we had snow yesterday and on Monday it's going to be 70 degrees F! Spring is crazy!

Oh, that shawl is going to be breathtaking! The pattern is really cool.

I LOVE THAT YOU HAVE VIDEO! I'm going to have to try that out. Those lambs are so sweet. I like the little tail wagging so fast.

The scene with the low clouds looks just like a painting. Very beautiful!

Fun to hear the lambs in the video (and your cat:)

I don't know how you get so much knitting done all the time!!

What an amazing view you have! I could cope with the snow to have that scenery!!! Thanks for linking to the little Lockets - I wish I had more time and patience to teach them even more crafts - I think I am too selfish because I want to get on with my own creations!!!

Loving your knitting! Lucy x

I always so enjoy your pictures, and your video is even more fun. My kitty, Josephine, did not appreciate hearing another cat in the house, but I though it was fun to hear Mr. Black. (LOL)

What a gorgous view, I bet the air is amazingly clean and fresh.

The shawl looks wonderful - seems like you have a bee theme going on. I guess with nature all around you it must be very inspirational.

I haven't disappeared just getting over all the jetlag and catching up after the holidays. I've been too tired to attempt any knitting for fear of making a big mistake.

Keeping posting your lovely photos, they cheer me up when the weather here gets me down.

That's a gorgeous shawl. All of you shawl knitters out there are inspiring me .. but I worry that I don't have the attention span!

Oh Marit! It would be okay if I moved in right? Your view is fantastic.

Plus you are in an 'Anne of green Gables' knitalong! That is really triffic.

Å, bbefields er bare et nydelig sjal, og fargen din er kjempelekker. Jeg har det sjalet på listen min, men har ikke kommet så langt at jeg har fått begynt.

Love the shawl, Marit--pretty color! Very inspiring with all the crafty children out there...great to know crafting of all sorts is alive and well among children. But snow...oh, NO! Glad it's gone now, and hope it's gone for good. ;o) Here it's been rainy off & on...But today it was 10C which was a great treat! Happy week to you all ((HUGS))

LOL! I watched the video before I read your blog entry. I was thinking "one of those poor little lambs has a cold because he sounds like a cat". As always your knitting and landscapes are amazing :)
