These are made in Silja from Gjestal, a nice, soft sockyarn- it seems more durable than Sisu from Sandnes, but there are not as many meters in Silja...which means that I will need just a liiittle more than two skeins for a pair of socks for myself...unless I make the cuff really short...
This is the MayDay socks, finally in progress.
I just had to finish these first..."Sheri's Lace Socks" by Sockbug. Nice pattern, easily knit up, some small adjustments made though- I knit for a child, and had to cast on fewer stitches (one pattern repeat)
Below lies Lady Grey, our very pregnant cat...

Your socks are beautiful! I love the colour and design of the blue ones, and your Green May Day socks are going to be lovely. The picture of the lamb and the bunny is too cute :) Also, the landscape pictures on your blog are amazing. I can almost taste the air :)
I couldn't find your email but wanted to say thanks for your kind message of congratulations! I absolutely love the green of that in-progress sock- so pretty!
the lace socks are great. I also enjoyed the Mayday. And make the legs a bit short, doing two full repeats.
Ah, yes - Eurovision. Total insanity at my house. Ukraine was the crowd pleaser with Finland, Serbia, Bulgaria and Moldova being the actual singing most appreciated.
Thanks!
I am a complete sucker for the baby lamb pictures...but with a bunny, too?? It is almost unbearably cute! :)
